St. Joseph Steeple Project
The St. Joseph Finance Council and Building and Grounds Committee are happy to see the St. Joseph Steeple Project underway, as many of you have seen.
The project is expected to be completed later this fall.

The Steeple Project includes:
• Replacing all the rotted wood soffit, facia and the louvres in a PVC product called Azek. This is more than half of the project.
Scaffold canopy over the front entrance.
Covering wood deck with a layer of titanium underlayment, to include a layer of high temperature ice and water shields.
• Removing existing shingles.
Installing new CertainTeed Grand Manor asphalt shingles, applying a sealant underneath to help deter wind uplift, and new stainless-steel flashings.
• Installing new stainless steel bird screens to prevent birds and other animals from entering.
• Prep and re-coat the large cross, including the four additional small crosses on the four dormers.

The St. Joseph Finance Council has assigned the Catholic Service Appeal (CSA) overages to the Steeple Project.

The Steeple Project, which Fr. Mike announced several months ago, is roughly $240,000.00.

We are still looking to raise approximately $140,000.00.

The steeple repair is required to preserve the church. While the CSA overages are helping, we are still short of our goal. We ask you to prayerfully consider your ability to contribute using the St. Joseph Parish Steeple Project envelopes found in St. Joseph Church.
St. Joseph Church was built by our ancestors, handed off to us as trustees for future generations. It is the focal point of our Catholic community. While in our trust, it is our duty to strengthen and preserve it.
We need your help.
Thank you for all you do!
